How to use the Utility Scenario Builder

Utility Scenario Builder is an educational XRPAuthority utility for mapping a real objective to participants, value flow, settlement steps, and the most relevant XRP or XRPL demonstration. It calculates from visible assumptions, so changing an input changes the result without asserting that the assumption will occur. The page keeps inputs, result, data mode, and safety boundary together so the output can be checked instead of accepted as an unexplained score or promise.

The builder asks for an outcome, assembles an illustrative flow, and routes the reader to a focused tool without claiming that the resulting architecture is production-ready. The required input is an intended outcome and the scenario choices presented by the builder. The primary output is a participant-and-settlement outline with a recommended next demonstration. Defaults are examples for learning; replace them with a documented scenario and preserve the units whenever the result informs later research or planning.

01

What problem does this tool solve?

Starting with a fashionable technology label can produce a solution before the actual payer, recipient, asset, timing, and failure conditions are understood. This tool solves the narrower analytical problem by naming each important input, showing the transformation, and keeping the output next to its assumptions. It does not claim to solve custody, compliance, tax, market execution, security, or business-process questions that sit outside the model.

02

Why people use it

Product teams use scenarios to clarify requirements, compare approaches, and create a shared picture that business, engineering, risk, and operations reviewers can challenge. Read the intermediate values before the headline result and change one assumption at a time. Compare a reasonable baseline with at least one adverse case, record the observation date when market or network values are involved, and follow the related research links when a field or risk is unfamiliar.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01

Select the outcome closest to the actual problem rather than the implementation someone has already proposed.

  2. 02

Review every participant and identify who authorizes value, who receives it, and which party bears operational or counterparty risk.

  3. 03

Trace the settlement sequence and note where off-ledger identity, pricing, invoicing, compliance, or dispute handling would be required.

  4. 04

Open the recommended demonstration, test the flow with simple values, and revise the scenario when an assumption fails.
